Document Description
The Interim Remedial Measures Work Plan includes the following activities: 1) excavate, remove, and dispose up to 1,000 cubic yards of soil contaminated with chlorobenzene above 540 ppm, and PCBs above 10 ppm; 2) collect confirmatory soil samples to ensure that the interim remedial goal is achieved; and 3) perform a health risk assessment to determine if additional action is necessary. The purpose of the workplan is to remove soil contaminated with high concentrations of chlorobenzene and PCBs that may pose a threat to groundwater. A final corrective measure workplan and report will be submitted following the completion of the interim work.
