Document Description
Disturbance or removal of vegetation shall not exceed the minimum necessary to complete operations. The disturbed portions of any stream channel or lake margin within the high water mark of the stream or lake shall be restored to as near their original condition as possible.

Reasons for Exemption
This project is to hydrotest an existing natural gas pipeline as required by the California Public Utilities Commission. Water from Fall River, Shasta County, will be removed from the River, placed into the pipe and held under perssure for 8 hours. Upon completion of the test water will be routed through an activated carbon filter system and returned to the River. The project will have no significant effects on the environment.
