Document Description
Streambank stabilization Project. Previous owner excavated site to install a retaining wall. Loose soil was spilled on the outside of the creek bank side of the wall. These soils are highly erosive and have sloughed into the creek over the years.

Reasons for Exemption
The Project will compact highly erosive soils, install filter fabric to disturbed slopes, install rock rip rap, support riprap and plant willow trees along Las Trampas Creek. The Project will temporarily impact 121 linear feet of streambank during construction but will ultimately result in the enhancement of havitat values, beneficial uses, and restoration of stream functions associated with Las Trampas Creek.
