Document Description
The project consists of the following activities: cutting and grading the banks of Rheem Creek to the inboard tow of an existing earthen levee, expanding the creek's floodplainl installation of two stormwater outfall structures; reinforcement of the channel with cellular concrete mats and riprapl; and construction of a concrete box culvert to support a road crossing over the creek. The Applicant will create a permanent wetland mitigation area on the 2.08 acre portion of the property north of Richmond Parkway to mitigate for impacts to wetland habitat elsewhere on the site. Existing habitat in this area will be enhanced, and new wetland pools will be created through grading. Approximately 1,15 acres of native riparian vegetation will be planted along the newly excavated floodplain.
