Document Description
The project is the approval of the renewal of a Series C Standardized Hazardous Waste Facility Permit by the DTSC that would authorize the continuation of the following currently permitted activities:
Independent licensed transporters will bring waste to the facility in tank trucks. The facility will accept, store and transfer only the following types of waste: used oil, non-RCRA oily wastewater, waste antifreeze.
Riverbank Oil Transfer LLC will transfer used oil, oily wastewater ,and waste antifreeze from containers and tank trucks to railroad cars for transport to authorized offsite treatment, storage, or recycling facilities.
The Facility will not have permanent or temporary storage tanks at the proposed facility. However, holding of hazardous waste and the mixing of hazardous waste during handling is defined as storage under HSC Section 25123.3 (b).
