Document Description
The District proposes to undertake the aquisition of approximately 8.4 acres of undeveloped land for the construction and operation of the proposed Pico Canyon Elementary School. The project contemplates the construction of classroom facilities organized in single-story and two-story buildings with covered walkways and fencing. Facilities to be constructed include classrooms for elementary and kindergarten students, day care facilities, pre-school, an administration and library building, music room, gymnasium, kitchen/cafeteria, and multi-purpose room. The project contemplates parking facilities for up to 120 vehicles, a segregated bus-loading and drop-off area. Athletic play courts include hardscape and turf playfields. Lighting includes low level security lighting, signage lighting and illumination of the surface parking lot and associated pedestrian areas.
