Document Description
The project is a Capital Improvement Project (CIP) to improve the intersection of Citracado Parkway, Mission Road and Nordhal Road. The proposed improvements consist of widening these roadways at the intersection through additional travel lanes, storage/turn lanes and median upgrades. The proposed improvements extend along Citracado/Nordahl roadway segments between Don Lee Place to Highway 78 ramp. The proposed project will also modify the existing intersection, railroad and traffic signals. Other than a corner (eastbound on-ramp) rounding to facilitate the traffic flow, the project does not propose any improvements to the existing Highway 78 ramps. Storm drainage system improvements (relocation of headwalls/storm drain inlets and extention of two minor storm drainpipes), and relocation of exisiting utilities (power pole, fire hydrants and water meters are also proposed in conjunction with this CIP.
