Document Description
The proposed project would construct approximately 500 apartments and associated community facilities to accommodate undergraduate and graduate students. The approval covers Phase I of the project (approximately 500 apartments on 30 acres). The environmental document evaluates the anticipated ultimate project, which would be approximately 1,000 apartments (on 73 acres). Phase I of the project would consist of apartments and support facilities of varied elevations, not to exceed three stories in height, on approximately 30 acres in the East Campus area of the University of California, Irvine campus.
