Document Description
The Regional Water Quality Control Board, Lahontan Region has approved the issuance of a Waiver of Waste Discharge Requirements for a water banking operation to be conducted by the High Desert Power Project, LLC and the Victor Valley Water District. The overall project approved by the California Energy Commission consists of construction and operation of a power plant, including a water treatment plant, transmission lines, a series of injection/extraction wells, the storage of water underground and a water distribution system including pipelines connecting the various components of the project.
