Document Description
The project is a 678 to 720 megawatt natural gas fired combined cycle electricity generating facility. Cooling water will be obtained from the State Water Project (SWP), and backup water supply will be provided from groundwater banking of SWP water. A new 7.2 mile 230 kilovolt transmission line will be built to interconnect the project to the Southern California Edison Company's Victor Substation. A 2.75 mile natural gas pipeline will be constructed by Southwest Gas Company to provide fuel for the project.
