Document Description
The project will restore 137 acres of the Tuolumne River floodplain to a nature wetland and riparian area. The area, used for agricultural production in the past, will be graded and revegetated with native trees and brush. An existing irrigation system will be modified to facilitate this new planting. An existing levee located on the property and adjacent to the Tuolumne River will be re-contoured to permit unrestricted flow of the river in this area.
