Document Description
The proposed project consists of 91 market-rate, for-sale housing units and 113 on-site parking spaces on a 30,600 square foot lot near Jack London Square. The total project square footage is approximately 181,600 with six floors of housing above two floors of parking, for height of approximately 85 feet. The unit size ranges from approximately 800 square feet to 1,700 square feet. The project is planned as a "u' shape around an interior landscaped courtyard plaza above the parking, and also includes a community multi-purpose room. The project will be made of concrete; other exterior materials include metal, glass and stucco with industrial type windows. The zoning designations for the site are C-45, Community Shopping Commercial and S-4, Design Review Combing Zone. The proposed residential use is consistent with the General Plan/Estuary Plan land use designation for the site, which is Waterfront Warehouse District. Construction of the proposed project may require obtainment of various zoning permits including a Conditional Use Permit, Design Review, and Subdivison Map.
