Document Description
This is a comprehensive land use plan that proposes to guide developement within the Upper Lake - Nice Planning Area for the next 20 years. It proposes to provide for adequate amounts of residential and commercial development while minimizing environmental impacts from such developement. The Plan proposes to protect the intensive agricultural operations in Middle Creek, Clover, and Bachelor Valleys, and in Tulee Lake. It also proposes to provide future opportunities for lakefront resort developement. The draft area plan supports the efforts of the Northshore Redevelopement Plan within the community areas of Upper Lake and Nice.
