Document Description
Quarry and processing operations will be governed by a Surface Mining and Reclamation Plan prepared for the project as well as the Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) prepared for all PALCO properties. Operations will include drilling, blasting, screening, loading and hauling. Additional activities include erosion control, annual closure, and final reclamation. Materials will be hauled off-site and transported by truck or rail to their ultimate destination for use as slope stabilization, bedding, and road base.
