The project consisits of three parts: a comprehensive update to the Development Code made up of the zoning ordinance, zoning maps, design guidelines, and subdivision ordinance, the Truckee Sphere of Influence as requested by the Town, and associated amendments to the Truckee General Plan to properly implement the Development Code and sphere of influence. The Nevada County Local Agency Formation Commission will be a responsible agency as they are the decision-making body for adoption of the sphere of influence.
