Document Description
The project would maintain the four through-travel lanes. The following improvements would be provided: 1) right-turn lanes in both the west and east bound direction at Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin, and Irvine Avenues; 2) right-turn lanes from southbound Orange and Santa Ana Avenues onto East 17th Street; 3) right-turn lanes from northbound Orange, Santa Ana, and Tustin Avenues onto East 17th Street; 4) construction of mid-block medians; 5) provision for bus stops out of the traffic lane; 6) reconstruction of the full roadway; 7) landscape enhancements within the medians and walkways where right-of-way permits; and, 8) improvements to sidewalks.
