Document Description
An Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is being prepared to evaluate different alternatives for providing traffic relief to East 17th Street and the surrounding residential neighborhoods. Through the Ad Hoc Committee, four alternatives were developed for further engineering and environmental evaluation. A single preferred alternative was not indentified; therefore, an EIR is being prepared to evaluate all four alternatives at an equal level of specificity. The alternatives will be evaluated based on ability to meet the project objectives and the extent of the environmental impacts. The following provides a desciption of each alternative.
