Document Description
The county of San Luis Obispo is proposing to repair a section of Old Creek Road that has been damaged by stream erosion along an unnamed tributary to Old Creek. The repair zone is approximately 120 feet long. The plan calls for installation of rock slope protection (RSP) along the creek bank, removal of a gravel bar from within the creek, and realignment of the creek channel. The work will be conducted during the dry season when flowing water in the stream channel is at the lowest. The project will be funded by local road maintenance funds. The project is located on Old Creek Road, approximately 3.87 miles east of Highway 1, east of the community of Cayucos, in San Luis Obispo County.
