Partially improved two-lane roadway consisting of a low-water crossing. Zoning (Land Use District): Floodway (FW)
Document Description
California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 6-2001-53) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, City of Yucaipa. The applicant proposes to improve two "at-grade" low-water crossings by constructing bridge/box culverts in order to increase the public's safety by alleviating current flooding deficiencies at the two crossings by containing 100-year flood flows. The project includes elevating the existing 64-foot wide "at-grade" low-water crossing of Avenue E within Wilson Creek and elevating the existing 30-foot wide "at-grade" low-water crossing of Bryant Street within Wildwood Creek, which would result in the permanent fill of 0.08 acre (non-vegetated, non-wetland) "waters of the U.S.", which equated to 94-linear feet of impacted streambed. The project is located in the City of Yucaipa in San Bernadino County.
