The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1601 (SAA #5-179-00) of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Cachuma Operations and Maintenance Board. The applicant proposes to construct fish passage structures in Hilton Creek for steelhead spawning and migration. The project is located in the Santa Ynez Mountains at Cachuma Lake in Santa Barbara County.
