CDFW is executing a Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA # 1600-2012-0200-R6 [Revision 1]) pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, represented by Mr. Warren Williams, 1995 Market Street, City of Riverside, State of California, 92501, Phone (951) 955-1233. For the Murrieta Creek Phase II Project (Project), the Applicant is proposing the construction, operation, and maintenance of an approximately 13,000 linear foot section of Murrieta Creek generally between Winchester Road and 1st Street. Construction activities include channel excavation, construction of side slopes and erosion protection, grade stabilizing structures, drop inlets, maintenance roads, and access ramps. The Project also includes the ongoing operation and maintenance of the facilities following completion of the construction activities. Overall, the project will impact a total of 106.52 acres of streambed and associated habitat including permanent impacts to 9.58 acres, temporary impacts to 55.27 acres, and ongoing, annual impacts of 41.67 acres.
