Document Description
The proposed project includes the design and construction of the following two components: A) an extension of the Via Princessa arterial, and B) an interchange between Via Princessa and San Fernando Road (SR-126). The City is considering three alternative alignments of the extension of Via Princessa. Each of these alignments under considerations would include an extension of Via Princessa from its existing terminus, which is about 1/2 mile east of where Via Princessa currently crosses, but does not connect with, San Fernando Road, one mile to the east to intersect with the proposed intersection of Magic Mountain Parkway on the Porta Bella project site (TT51599). The proposed extension would join another proposed segment of Via Princessa that extends through to Rainbow Glen Drive. Each of the potential extension alignments would accommodate six lanes of traffic, sidewalks on both sides of the street and a bikeway.
