Document Description
General Plan Amendment No. 535 is a proposal to : (1) amend the Open Space and Conservation Map designations of the site from Areas Not Designated as Open Space (334.75 acres) and Mountainous Areas (86 acres) to Adopted Specific Plan No. 322 and (2) amend the Land Use Element by adding a description of Specific Plan No. 322 to the Perris Valley Land Use Planning Area Profile. Specific Plan No. 322 is a proposal that includes 421 single-family residential units on 129 acres, 100 acres of retail commercial uses, 102 acres of resort commercial uses, 84 acres of open space, and a 5-acre park on 420.75 acre site consisting of three distinct areas. Change of Zone No. 6527 is a proposal to change the zoning under the area covered in the proposed specific plan from R-R (322.55 acres) and A-D (98.2 acres) to SP.
