Document Description
The project proposes construction of 2,061 single-and multi-family residential lots, as well as public park, private recreation area, and sites for commercial, and public/quasi-public use including a fire station, an elementary and middle school and community. Purpose facility on approximately 748 acres. Requested discretionary approvals include amendments to Chula Vista General Plan, including the land use and circulation elements, amendments to the EastLake II and III General Development Plans, adoption of the Eastlake III Sectional Planning Area Plan and related regulatory documents, processing of a Tentative Subdivision Map for the Woods and Vistas, acquisition of permits required by the resource agencies, and implementation of interim off-site sewer improvements. Public/quasi-public uses are proposed for the 45-acre Panhandle site, with a secondary low-density residential use. Business Center II is proposed for de-annexation from EastLake III to EastLake II consistent with prior actions, and no land use change is proposed for the Olympic Training Center.
