Document Description
Development of a modern "freestall" dairy with supporting agricultural crop production. This project site encompasses 1,088 acres under the ownership of the applicant, of which 167 acres would be occupied by dairy facilities. The dairy would house approximately 5,000 milk cows and 4,000 support stock. A net acreage of 816 acres would be under cultivation and available for the disposal of liquid wastewater and solid waste. The site is currently cultivated with row corps and is within the boundaries of Agricultural Preserve 10. Approximately 682 acres of the site are under restrictions of a Williamson Act Land Use Contract. Facilities would include a milk house, two milk parlors, two drip pens, two sprinkler pens, a scale, office, and a possible single-family residence.
