The proposed project entails the construction of regional Cancer Center with a total building area of 270,000 gross square feet, a 6,750-gross-square-foot utilities plant, and a 108-space surface parking lot as well as realignment of medical Center Drive. The project site encompasses nine acres within the UCSD East Campus. The Cancer Center will be three and five stories above grade with a basement level, which includes underground parking.
