Original enhancement project in 1997 improved conditions in lagoon for fish and wildlife as required for impacts to wetlands during a Port of Los Angeles project. Dredging is required to maintain the lagoon in the state which created the beneficial conditions for fish and wildlife. Original Eir addressed all impacts associated with the maintenance dredging.
