Document Description
The Department of Fish and Game proposes to replace the deteriorated outlet works of an artificial impoundment with a new concrete spillway through the existing levee. Construction will remove an 18.5' long x 8.5' wide x 3' deep concrete lined channel, displace less than 100 yards of imported fill material, create temporary coffer dams or impermeable barriers as needed to dewater the work site, place 6 yards of crushed rock foundation, form and pour a new 28' long x 4' deep x 5' wide concrete lined channel, and relocate the existing streamflow gauge recorder. The existing 2' drainage culvert will remain in place, but may be plugged or capped to prevent water leakage, if needed. The integrity of the existing levee will be unaffected.
