Document Description
The SUSD is experiencing substantial overcrowding in existing facilities at the high school level. The proposed project would relieve this need through acquisition and development of a new senior high school on a 50-acre site. The proposed high school would be designed to accommodate 2,000 students with the potential to expand to accommodate up to 2,200 students. The project will likely require annexation of the selected site into the City of Stockton, and the Stockton General Plan will need to be amended to reflect the proposed high school location.
