The project involves the closure of a 12.4 acre portion of the East Third Avenue Landfill. The closure is detailed in the Revised Landfill Closure Plan. The landfill closure will be accomplished by the placement of an earthen cap on top of the landfill. The cover material will be of both on-site and imported soils and materials.
