Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a lake and streambed alteration agreement pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game code to the project applicant, [Mr. Robert Ueltzen representing the California Department of Parks and Recreation]. The project proposes trail rerouting necessitating installation of pedestrian bridges across Miller and Connick Creeks, and installation of a "hardened" rock foot crossing on Tepee Creek, within the Johnson Camp area of Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The new pedestrian bridges will be installed without entering or using equipment within the creeks. The pedestrian crossing on Tepee Creek will be a wet crossing using angular rock fill.
