Document Description
The proposed project evaluates a pilot remediation technique to treat contaminated soils and groundwater. Hexavalent chromium, and volatile organic compounds, and petroleum hydrocarbons will be remediated in groundwater. The pilot test program is designed to generate data concerning the effectiveness of chromium remediation using two different reducing processes, and to evaluate the feasibility of a full-scale implementation of the in-situ (in place) reduction technology.
