Document Description
The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District (the District) is applying to the San Mateo County Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCo) to expand the District's Boundary and Sphere of Influence to include the Coastal Annexation Area. The Coastal Annexation Area includes approximately 144,000 acres of unincorporated western San Mateo County. This portion of the county includes the City of Half Moon Bay, urban areas to the north, and relatively undeveloped lands in active agriculture and ranching, low density housing, and open spaces uses.
