Document Description
Request for approval of a Use Permit for a Public Charter School (temporary-one school year) within a portion of the existing Saint Patrick's Episcopal Church facility in Kenwood. Enrollment is anticipated to be 30-35 students, with 3-4 teachers/staff members. The grade levels are 7th and 8th. The existing Education Center toward the northern end of the church property would be used for classrooms for the students. And, the existing, adjacent Parish Hall would be used for bathroom facilities, a possible computer lab, teachers' offices and an indoor recreation area, if needed. Approximately 91 parking spaces exist on-site. Fifty-three (53) of those spaces are located at the southern end of the property near Sonoma Highway, and 38 spaces are located at the northern end of the property in the vicinity of the Education Center. No new construction is anticipated with this proposed project. The overall church property measures 3.11 acres.
