Document Description
The Brinan Pit is an existing in-stream sand and gravel mining operation located about one mile east of the town of San Ardo in Monterey County. The Brinan Pit has been in operation since the 1930's and seeks to increase the existing operation from 35 acres to 60 acres. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-0361 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, John Cederquest / Swift Techonics, Inc.
