Document Description
The proposed project is located in the Topanga Park area of unincorporated Los Angeles County territory, approximately three miles north of the City of Malibu. The proposed project involves constructing an 18-foot high gabion wall along the slope at the north side of a sharp bend in the road at Culvert Marker 1.21 in the vicinity of Gold Creek, approximately 20 feet away from the edge of the roadway shoulder. The gabion wall consists of six 3-foot-long by 3-foot-high wire mesh boxes filled with rocks, varying in width from 6 feet to 12 feet. The project also includes reconstructing the roadway shoulder at the project location. Right-of-way acquisition will be required to construct the proposed project.
