The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) proposes demolition of the existing facilities and construction of replacement facilities at Ahwahnee State. The proposed project would include the following construction: barracks and mess-hall building, apparatus building, fuel storage building, a 20,000 gallon water storage tank, paving, utilities, a hose wash rack with slab, curbs and sidewalks, septic systems, security fence, gas and landscaping.
