Document Description
The applicants are requesting approval of a Specific Plan, Use Permit, and Design Review to allow the construction of a 17,500 square foot basketball gymnasium. The gymnasium would be located over two existing outdoor basketball courts, southeast of the Junipero Serra School. The gym will have a maximum height of 39 feet. It will feature a Spanish Colonial architectural style that matches the adjacent school and mission. The gym will be elevated above the 100-year flood height. Parking is expected to be adequately addressed via existing parking lots around the school and mission property. Replacement landscaping will be included in the project. No historic structures / sites are adversely affected.
