Document Description
The project proposes to replace 28 dormitory buildings, each housing 100 beds, with 16 dormitory buildings that can accomodate 200 beds each. This will increase the new men housing capacity at CRC from the current 2,800 beds to 3,200 beds, an increase of 400 beds. The dormitory buildings will be constructed at grade floor slabs with precast concrete bearing wall panels supporting a hipped steel framed roof structure with metal deck roof structure and standing rib metal roofing. Site work will include grading and build paid preparation and asphalt concrete road and walkways. Non-paved areas around the buildings will be landscaped.
