Joshua Basin Water District has submitted an application to the California Department of Public Health to operate one new groundwater production well (Well 16) and associated 12.5% sodium hypochlorite disinfection system. Well 16 is one of 2 wells proposed by the District, and was constructed between October and December 2001. Once operational, Well 16 will augment the existing groundwater supply for the District.
