Document Description
Installation and operation of two groundwater supply wells within the Copper Mountain Subbasin, construction of two above-ground water storage reservoirs, and construction of about 14 miles of below-ground water line to deliver groundwater from the well sites to the new and existing reservoirs. The new system would be tied into Joshua Basin Water District's existing potable water distribution system and would allow the District to reduce the current rate of extraction from the Joshua Tree Subbasin and to more effectively manage its groundwater resources.
