Document Description
The Operator proposes to remove silt and debris from an existing culvert to allow water to flow thorough the culvert and out to the bay. Two 5 feet by 5 feet areas (one on each end of the culvert) will be cleared to reestablish flow. Along the eastern berm of the ditch, the Operator proposes to place rip-rap on the slope, impacting 300 square feet. As restoration for the project, the Operator proposes to do the following: (1) place dirt over the rip-rap and the area will be revegetated with native plants; (2) plant a 60 square foot area adjacent to the pond with native riparian species; and (3) plant native tidal marsh plants in a 30 square feet area near the Kiosk to expand the existing tidal marsh.
