Document Description
The University of California has acquired, at no cost to the University, the right, via a license, to use private property that comprises approximately 500 acres along roughly 1.5 miles of coastline in Cambria, California. The site will be managed by the Santa Barbara campus as a satellite to another Natural Reserve System (NRS) reserves within its jurisdiction, in accordance with the organizational structure of the NRS. The purpose of this new satellite reserve is to provide a protected natural area for University-level research and teaching.
