Document Description
Proposed to install an electric gate at the existing gate into the airport at the Gene Pumping Plant. This project will include installation of approximately 500 feet of buried power cable from an existing power pole to the gate operation mechanism, installation of a 20 X 24 foot concrete slab at the gate, paving the existing dirt access road from the existing MWD Road through the gate to the existing airplane hangar, and paving an existing 25 X 35 foot dirt parking area adjacent to the airplane hangar. All of this work will occur on previously disturbed areas within the boundaries of existing Metropolitan facilities at the Gene Pumping Plant on the Colorado River Aqueduct and will involve no removal of any vegetation.
