Construction of a concrete access ramp (100-foot-long by 14- foot-wide) on the east side of the trapezoidal open channel upstream of the Poretta Channel confluence, for the purpose to provide access for maintenance, inspection and repairs to the both the Santa Clara River and Poretta channel facilities.

The current channel sides ar concrete lined. The access ramp will be in on the east side on the channel, within the limits of the current concrete lined slope are. The access ramp will provide immediate access to the Santa Clara River and Poretta Channel, thus elimination the need to travel great distance within the Santa Clara River to conduct maintenance activities.
