Document Description
The Friant Water Users Authority proposes to make releases of water from Friant Dam over the period of June 9 through September 30, 2000 as part of reclamation and the SJRHRRP 2000 Pilot Project. The project is to establish sufficient data on seedling establishment and on ground and surface water conditions to refine hydrologic and hydraulic modeling on the San Joaquin River from Friant Dam to Mendota Dam. Water releases would be either 280 cfs and 18,400 af for a maintenance flow or 1,615 cfs and 59,320 af for a supplemental water flow. Water purchases from willing sellers are needed to replace water lost by conveyance or to ground water.
