The MCRPD proposes to acquire 745 acres and develop a regional park that would include a nature park, a sports park, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Development of the project would be in three phases, with Phase 1 including the nature park and golf course, Phase 2 including the sports park, and Phase 3 (conceptual only at this time) including a special-events area and possibly bicycle motorcross (BMX) trails.
