Document Description
The Valley of the Moon Water District proposes to increase the water storage capacity at its Crest tank site in Boyes Hot Springs from the existing 150,000 gallon capacity to between 500,000 and 800,000 gallons. The existing redwood tank would be dismantled and replaced with either a single 64 foot diameter or two 46 foot diameter welded steel tanks. The height of the tanks will be either 20 feet or 32 feet. In addition to the new tanks, approximately 400 linear feet of existing 8-inch steel pipeline would be replaced with a new 8-inch PVC pipeline. The pipeline replacement would extend from the new tanks through an existing easement to connect with existing piping near Highland Avenue and Crest Way.
