Document Description
The proposed project will provide a bicycle/pedestrian path (bikeway) along each side of Hollister Avenue between Lincoln Avenue and Fair Oaks Boulevard, a distance of 1/4 mile. The bikeway will be a minimum of 5 feet wide and surfaced with asphalt. Along existing improved areas (areas with curb/gutter/sidewalk already in place), the bikeway will be developed by simply restriping existing pavement. Unimproved segments will require widening of existing pavement, relocation of utility poles, removals of some trees, reconstruction or regrading of existing driveways, lengthening of an existing culvert at a creek crossing, and widening of roadside slope banks.
