The Visalia Unified School District (District) is proposing to acquire approximately 22 acres of land in northeast Visalia. The District intends to "land bank" the property in anticipation of a future need for a new elementary school. The District is planning to develop the site in two to three years. The future development of a school on the site is not considered a part of this "project". Further environmental review will be provided for the site development.
